Poggio delle Baccanti Gragnano della Penisola Sorrentina Rosso Frizzante is a naturally fizzy red wine from Campania made naturally from Aglianico and Piedirosso grapes farmed sustainably.
Inky red-violet with frothy pink bubbles, with aromas of tart wild berries, violets and a hint of baking spices. Blackberry, red currant, pomegranate, blueberry and Morello cherry are underscored by smoky minerality and a drop of clover honey. Fresh acidity and astringent black tea tannins highlight tangy wild berries, a trace of black olive and wisps of smoke on the crisp finish.
Small family-owned winery located in the Penisola Sorrentina, near Naples, making wines of character from sustainably farmed indigenous grapes. Low-intervention in the cellar, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, no added sulfites.
